Based on the Supreme Court ruling TX v NJ 379 US 674 decided in 1965, as the first priority rule, you must report the unclaimed property to the state of the last known address of the property owner that you have on record. As a second priority rule, any unclaimed property with an unknown address, (not a bad address as that is still reported to the last known address) is reported to your state of incorporation.
